Will the repair be visible?
Done properly, no. Filler shaped to the original profile, colour mixed on site and feathered out. We check it with you in daylight before we leave.
Is repairing actually cheaper than replacing?
Almost always — especially on doors and worktops, where one damaged area would otherwise mean a whole new unit. If a repair isn’t the right answer, we’ll say so.
How long does a repair take?
Most single repairs are a short job rather than a full day. Larger lists take longer, but are often still one visit.
Why does mastic need replacing at all?
Sealant hardens, shrinks and pulls away with age. Once there’s a gap, water gets behind the frame — and that damage costs far more than the sealant.
Can you match a colour you haven’t seen?
Yes — matched on site against the actual surface, because frames fade over time. A RAL or BS code helps but isn’t essential.
